Bobble Stitch Bag

With this pattern, make your own Bobble Stitch Bag. This cute little bag is very versatile. It has many uses, such as a makeup bag, a cell phone bag, or a dice bag, among others. The bag size can be easily adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of rounds. Stitch count must be an even number.

It's a fun, quick, and easy project to work up. It would make a perfect gift for a special someone or for yourself, great for markets and craft shows.

Special Stitches

Bobble stitch (bo) – yarn over, insert hook into stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over, go through 2 loops on hook, leaving remaining loops on hook, yarn over, insert hook into same stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over, go through 2 loops, leaving remaining loops on hook, repeat until 5 loops are left on hook, yarn over and go through all 5 loops

RD 1 – MR 6 sc, sl st to first sc to join (6)
RD 2 – ch 1, 2 sc in join, 2 sc in each stitch around, sl st to join (12)
RD 3 – ch 1, sc in join, 2 sc in next stitch, repeat pattern around (18)
RD 4 – ch 1, sc in join and in next stitch, 2 sc in next stitch, repeat around,  sl st to join (24)
RD 5 – ch 1, sc in join, sc in next 2 stitches, 2 sc in next stitch, repeat around, sl st to join (30)
RD 6 – ch 1, sc in join, sc in next 3 stitches, 2 sc in next stitch, repeat around, sl st to join (36)

RD 13 – 22 - Repeat RD 11 and RD 12 or to desired height, make sure to end with rd 12.
